Bachelor Podiatry, M.A.Pod.A

Since graduating from La Trobe University in 1991, I began my career working in a busy Shepparton practice before settling back in Melbourne.

As the practice owner, I have been fortunate to call Viewbank Podiatry my home for over 30 years. I have had the privilege of helping so many wonderful residents in the community to remain active and pain free.

I continue to be passionate about delivering the ‘best possible foot-care care’ every time!

I am fortunate to have such a wonderful team of experienced and dedicated Podiatrists as well as reception staff, which is a testament to our ongoing quality of care.

I look forward to helping feet of all sizes, big and little, whether it be children’s feet through to complex sporting injuries. I genuinely enjoy providing general skin and nail care and seeing how this essential service can improve my patient’s well-being.

Aside from my Podiatry life, I am dedicated to my other passion, karate. An instructor for many years, I love helping others to achieve their goals, as well as constantly challenging myself. Fitness is an integral part of my life as well as getting outdoors and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Welcome to Viewbank Podiatry. I would be very happy to see you.

Bachelor Podiatry

I graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry in the year 2000. I have over 20+ years of varied clinical experience.

Since graduating I have been working in private practice, as well as in aged care. I pride myself on being a well-rounded Podiatrist, who enjoys all aspects of the profession. I have a special interest in general podiatry, attending to your skin and toenail needs, hoping to have you leave the clinic feeling like ‘you are walking on air!’

I look forward to meeting you, providing you with a caring and professional experience.

Bronwyn Winnell

Bachelor Podiatry, M.A.Pod.A , B.App.Sci (Human Movement)

I was introduced to Podiatry at the age of 15 after foot pain interfered in my own sporting involvement.  My interest in Podiatry peaked whilst studying Human Movement.  I could see how important feet were for overall mobility.

I have been a team member at Viewbank Podiatry for 17 years. I love helping people maintain their foot health in a variety of ways and encompassing all aspects of podiatry.  I particularly enjoy managing painful toenails and corns and assisting in education.

I also enjoy addressing complex foot pain and injuries, incorporating modalities such as orthotic intervention, shock wave therapy, dry needling and exercise prescription.

Away from the clinic I'm a mum of an active 8 year old boy and 2 dogs.  I have always been involved in sport and strive to stay active.  I enjoy running and am currently training for upcoming marathons.

I thrive in the summer and longer daylight hours, spending time outdoors and being around the water.

I would love the opportunity of being able to help keep you active, happy and healthy!

Bachelor Podiatry

I graduated from La Trobe University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Podiatry and have spent my career seeing a wide case load of patients and have become a clinically well-rounded podiatrist.

I have worked extensively in public health as well private practice where my main role is managing high risk feet and diabetic foot ulcers. I have been responsible for the supervision of podiatry students on their placements, a role I love, being able to help students consolidate their skills and knowledge.

I have a particular interest in managing foot pain and other biomechanical problems, taking a holistic approach in managing these issues. I have completed further certification in dry needling and regularly apply strength-based programs and foot orthotics to help rehabilitate injuries.

Outside of podiatry, I enjoy weightlifting, rock climbing and pottery. I also spend my free time teaching myself to paint and draw.

I would love to help provide you with the best possible foot care.
