Sports Podiatry
Our Podiatrists understand the frustration of sustaining an injury and the implications it can have on your day-to-day activity or sporting performance.

Injury is a part of sport and exercise that can keep you away from the activities you enjoy. As Podiatrists we work as part of the healthcare team, helping to assess, diagnose & manage a wide range of sporting injuries.
What to expect in your sports podiatry consultation?
We offer a comprehensive assessment and management of activity- and sports-based injury. Your initial sports podiatry consultation will involve a detailed medical history, followed by a physical examination to determine the diagnosis and cause of your problem.

As part of your initial assessment, one of our Podiatrists may undertake a gait assessment &/or Gaitscan . This helps us to determine the causative factors, implement the appropriate treatment to return you to sport as soon as possible.

We will help to form a treatment plan for your needs. The treatment may vary but will often include a combination of “hands on therapies” such as taping, medical advice, exercise therapies, dry needling, footwear advice and foot orthotics.
We work holistically, with a healthcare team, helping to assess, diagnose & manage sporting injuries.
